New FurnierGeschichten film:
Sachsenküchen with precision and passion for veneer

Bonn/Dippoldiswalde. The Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN) has released a new film as part of its "FurnierGeschichten" campaign, which can now be viewed on the homepage www.furnier.de and on YouTube under the link youtube. In the film, Elko Beeg, Managing Director of kitchen furniture manufacturer Sachsenküchen from Dippoldiswalde-Obercarsdorf, passionately explains why real veneer is the material of choice for more and more people when buying a kitchen.

Veneer conserves resources, is ecological and climate-friendly. It is always individual, just like the trees from which it is cut. Sachsenküchen has a long tradition of working with veneer as a surface for its chic kitchen furniture and has been using it more and more in recent years, as the demand for this natural surface is increasing. This is not least due to the modern and innovative design language that the Saxon manufacturer implements in its kitchen models. Sachsenküchen has succeeded in bringing the ancient material of veneer into the modern age and making it a "must have" for design-conscious and environmentally aware customers.

Oak, walnut or other types of wood, smooth or ribbed, oiled or waxed, limed or flamed, always impresses with its natural and unique character. In combination with materials such as stone, metal, glass or even colored lacquer, it looks calm and elegant and enhances the entire kitchen. "Sachsenküchen's specialist retailers experience the 'wow effect' with their customers every day. Far too few customers are familiar with our brand and are then very surprised at the possibilities Sachsenküchen has to offer, both in terms of technical features and veneer surfaces," explains Beeg. And he knows that there is a strong furniture trend towards bringing nature into one's own four walls. "Thanks to highly motivated employees, state-of-the-art and precise batch size 1 production technology, good international design and the courage to innovate, we are able to enhance the value of the natural material veneer in a special way and increase its status in people's minds and also in demand."

Ursula Geismann, a long-standing trend expert and Managing Director of the Initiative Furnier + Natur (IFN), appreciates the company's determination in design matters. "In the atmospherically appealing showroom, in the many different kitchen models and in the design details, there is a pleasant coherence that makes you want to buy a new kitchen." Geismann also emphasizes that Sachsenküchen has always recreated itself without the background of a family business that has been secured over generations: "The film is a tribute to the use of veneer in the modern kitchen - through beautiful images and an eloquent managing director, Elko Beeg, who really knows what he's talking about," concludes Geismann. Sachsenküchen
The history of the kitchen furniture manufacturer Sachsenküchen, founded in 1908, is very varied: deeply rooted in the carpentry trade and combined with the advantages of industrial production, the company from Dippoldiswalde near Dresden has been producing high-quality kitchens for over 100 years. With the combination of ultra-modern production facilities and the experience of traditional craftsmanship, the company paves the way for its dealers and end customers to create individual dream kitchens and matching living room furniture. The company's close proximity to its customers, the high quality of its products and its innovative strength are paying off: Sachsenküchen has enjoyed continuous growth since the 1990s. With 250 employees, an export rate of over 52% and an annual turnover of around 57 million euros in 2023, the long-established company is well on the way to continuing this growth.
